Identity is one of the most popular challenge applications facing today. Almost every application must know who is talking and needs to do something about it. Unfortunately, we know that identity is not treated badly, because identity theft is one of the biggest problems in the world today.

Security is an important aspect needed in each application. Security means that official access is given protected data and unauthorized access to restrictions. At present, the website is not intended only for publicity or marketing but this has developed into a stronger tool to meet complete business needs. Web-based payroll system, shopping centers, banking, stock trading applications are not only used by organizations but also sold as current products.

This means that online applications have gained customer trust and users regarding their vital features named as security. No doubt, security factors are also the main value for desktop applications. If an online system cannot protect transaction data, no one will think of using it. Security is not a word to seek the definition, also not a smooth concept. However, I want to register several security complements.

Security testing includes two main aspects; The first is data protection and the second is access to the data. In addition, whether this application is a desktop or web-based, ranging to the two aspects mentioned above.

Desktop and web security testing:

Desktop applications must be safe not only about access but also in connection with the organization and storage of data. Similarly, web applications demand more security in connection with its access, along with data protection. The web makes everything open good for business, but with everything that good comes something bad. In this case, we get a hacker. Second, even developers, who are trained in security and truly understand security issues, suffer the lack of time. Most developers are very busy and under crunch to get applications in time. They don’t have time to even do unit testing, forget security testing
