What’s in Store for Mobile App Developers?

Ionic Framework 5 (Magnesium) has been released!

The introduction of Ionic 5 has occurred after Apple and Google comes with new UX standards and design patterns for iOS and Android. The focus is on a growing cellular experience that is conducive to a higher level of adoption and involvement.

With the latest Ionic 5, the developer will have access to everything needed to make the original experience on the latest mobile devices.

Design and UX are the core of user involvement, the framework that is updated perfectly to focus less about how to improve application performance and more about what new features are made for users.

What's new in Ionic 5?

Changes apply to the core of the open source framework and will extend to react integration, angle, and vue (beta). If you haven't heard, they have launched Ionic reacting a few months ago.

As listed above, updates including the main revamp that will help the ionic application developers align their work to meet the latest UX requirements.

IOS design update.

This far is the most important update in ION 5. Masive iOS design updates and has been implemented in all supported UI components.

It has updates brought by Apple in iOS 13 recently and the design component. Some design changes in ions include the following:

Segment.

Ionic 5 has changed the way inspected and the unchecked button is distinguished in iOS. The segment design now no longer has the limit and background filled.

Instead, one indicator distinguishes between two buttons. Also, this update is equipped with movements that use indicators can only be dragged.

Header.

Responding to the introduction of headers that can be folded by iOS, Ionic 5 brings support for the same thing. Certain components have been activated which can be added to the components responsible for the header. The idea is to help knock down headers without interruption.

Title

iOS 13 also introduces the concept of varying size titles after scrolling content. To support transition, Ionic 5 has produced components that allow the shrinkage of large titles to standard sizes.

Slide down to close the capital

Typical features in iOS, slide down to close the capital now does not need to cover the entire screen. It also doesn't need a user to knock the button to close it.

Instead, developing with Ionic 5 will allow capital that has a page that is pushed back to the back. In addition, there will be a gesture to close the capital by dragging it down.

Overlay type menu.

No more encouraging the main content to reveal a side menu on iOS. The development of Ionic 5 cellular applications will ensure the menu cover the content instead.

However, people who like the old format can still stick to him.

Ionic animation.

Special animation comes at ION 5! This is possible with ION animation, the latest open source animated animation utility.

Developers will now be able to make very performing animations regardless of the framework they use and without the main performance hit.

Ionic 5 claims this new utility offers 40% better performance in animation and efficiency of 98% higher than the CPU on user devices.

Ionicons.

Ionicons 5 is the latest. It's an open and free source. Most importantly, it comes with a new set of icons that work for dark and bright mode.

The icon comes in three different variants - fill, outline and sharp. This is a welcome change where the icon does not need to change when mode changes.

Ionic color.

This is the default element in ions 5. One new color set will wait for an application that is not made using one of the initial ions or colors that have not been overwritten.

For applications made using reacting or angles, updates must be done manually. In addition, ions will also recommend a series of colors to developers for dark mode.
